The Regional Prime Contract Scotland (RPCS) Estate consists of approximately 3,000 houses plus sheds, garages, play parks and multi-use games activity centres. During the 11 year contract for the Ministry of Defence, we delivered an enhanced effectiveness for the housing within the RPCS Estate by focussing on occupant and family satisfaction and by providing a service built around customer needs. Our mantra was "the right home, in the right condition, available on time."
What we did
We worked in collaboration with the Authority to ensure shared goals, objectives and strategies were delivered across the Estate.
We delivered statutory and mandatory planned maintenance which ensured each property met the defined requirements relative to the Service Levels as set by the Authority.
The Planned and Response Maintenance and Changes of Occupancy Works service delivery was provided by a structured team from our Regional Support and Site Estate Teams, headed by the Housing Manager.
We ensured that well-maintained housing was available at all times, together with the provision of housing to suit future needs.
Each year, we delivered on average 30,000 tasks across the Estate with approximately 3,000 changes of occupancy, 20,000 response maintenance tasks and 7,000 planned maintenance tasks, all with a delivery performance success in excess of 95%.
